Internet Use
Whittemore Library Internet Access Guidelines
All users must have a valid library card and less than $1.99 in fines or lost materials. Guest Passes may be obtained by showing an out of town license or ID.
- There is a 45 minute time limit on the Internet computers. The library enforces time limits to ensure equity and fairness among its patrons.
- Do not download files to the hard drive. The librarians will delete any program or documents found on the hard drive that were not placed there by library staff. The library is not responsible for computer viruses caught by patrons downloading material.
- The library does not allow use of the Internet for playing games, chat or Instant Messaging (IM).
- Internet access is provided for informational and educational use only.

Children's Internet Use Policy
Only children (8th grade or younger) with an adult (over 18) are allowed on the children’s department computers. The adult must have a valid library card and less than $1.99 in fines or lost materials.
