Children: Chess and Game Club
Saturdays at 11:00 AM. Ages 8-12. Club consists of strategy, multiplayer board and videogames with Wii games also provided. Free play in the Children’s Department.
The Bob Veillette Website
Bob Veillette, a journalist who lives in Naugatuck, CT, suffered a terrible stroke in April, 2006. The Howard Whittemore Library encourages all visitors of this website to read more about Mr. Veillette's condition and contribute in the effort to help him and his family. You can also read an article written about Mr. Veillette in the NY Times.
