Anyone can send faxes from the library whether they have a library card or not. Simply give the person at the Reference Desk the pages you would like to fax, the amount needed to send the fax, and the fax number.
Faxes sent to all numbers within the US: $1.00 per page
Faxes sent outside the US: $2.50 a page
Incoming faxes sent to the library: $0.50 a page
Note: Payment of faxes must be made with $1 and $5 bills only.
If the library is closed when you need to send a fax, try contacting Nelson's Pharmacy Incorporated, (203) 729-2297, at 153 Maple St, Naugatuck, CT 06770 to inquire about their fax services.
The scanner is free to use and you do not need a library card to operate it. You can use it to scan books, articles, or photos and convert them into digital files. Save your scanned documents to a USB flash drive or email the scanned document from the scanner itself. Scanned text documents can be converted into Word files using the scanner's image to text software. Note: dark photos may not scan properly because not enough light can reflect off of them.
The library has 2 copy machines available for public use. Black and white copies are 20 cents per page, and color copies are 25 cents per page.
