Youth Services Department

The Youth Services Department of the Whittemore Library aims to support you and your family through every stage of childhood literacy. From your first toddler story time, through children’s crafts, book groups and young adult writing workshops, we aim to provide the support you need through a broad and balanced collection, creative programming and excellent service.

Ask at the Circulation Desk for information about library cards for children and young adults, programs and services. We’ll offer advice about books and library materials for all ages, and provide assistance in selecting appropriate resources for your children.

For more information about our regular programming, special events and services, follow the department on Facebook and via our online magazine and get to know us when you are in the building – we want to help.
